Thank you for visiting the Dayspring Academy web page. Dayspring Academy is committed to providing high-quality education to learners in grades Pre- K thru 12th grade and college. Dayspring provides an academically rich curriculum using the arts, technology, and embracing creativity and collaboration. Dayspring is determined not only in preparing learners academically, but we strive to instill quality character and values in our learners to make a lasting positive impact in the community and in the world.
Our Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who reside in Pasco County and are committed to education. The Board is diverse and each member uniquely brings their expertise, professionalism and passion for improving public education for all students. Parent Grievance Procedure
If a parent has a grievance, complaint or need assistance, please follow the process below:
Seek to resolve the problem with the teacher, if applicable.
If problem is not resolved, meet with school principal. You may email them directly to address the issue or to set up an appointment.
Elementary: Wendy Finlay
Secondary: Tim GreenierIf still unresolved, you may contact Mrs. Suzanne Legg, CEO.
If still unresolved, you may contact our Board Liaison, Darren Curtis
If still unresolved, you may bring the issue directly to the board via by submitting the Board resolution form and emailing it to the board.
Dayspring has monthly board meetings the last Monday of the month.

Board Member Application Process
Dayspring Academy is a public charter school located in Pasco County, FL and is run by a private Board of Directors. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a member of our governing Board, please follow these guidelines.
Prepare a Letter of Interest.
Address to the Dayspring Academy Board of Directors.Complete a Board of Directors Questionnaire.
Click the Board Member Application button in the left sidebar to access this form.
Please save the completed form for email submission – Step 3.Email your Letter of Interest, the completed Board of Directors Questionnaire, and your current resume here. Please indicate “Dayspring Board Position Applicant” in the subject line of the email.
Our Board of Directors and Administration will review your information. If a Board position becomes available, you will be given the opportunity to interview with our Board. If we do not have an opening at this time, we will keep your information on file in the event an opening becomes available.
Dayspring Board Meetings are held on the last Monday of each month, with the exception of November – December and June – July, and are held at our Administration offices located at 9732 Little Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34654, unless otherwise noted. Upcoming Board meeting dates are listed on the left.
